Tales of the Gold Monkey

Tales of the Gold Monkey was a 1 season wonder in 1982. Inspired by the success of Raiders of the Lost Ark, the show was cut from similar cloth. Or at least the hem. Anyway, loved this as a kid. Haven't seen it in ages. Anyone else remember it?

The Rocketeer was created by the late, incredibly talented Dave Stevens. If you haven't seen this movie, or read any of the Rocketeer graphic novels, rush out and do it. NOW!

It's funny. The more things change, the more they stay the same. At least the audience does, anyway.
Now. The Evolution.

Put that in your bra and smoke it, Angelina Jolie.

TRON (pt. 2)

No, not so much a sequel. But I have found a few more interesting links.

First: wanna play Light Cycle online? Go here.
How about some nifty TRON shirts? Try Threadless. Personally, I like the hoodie.

Naturally, there are TRON computer products. Nifty.

Here's a keen pair of kids shoes.
But not to be left out, Vans has a pretty keen pair of shoes for the grown-ups, too.

Some other, interesting TRON stuff:
  • The TRONguy. I admire your pluck. No, really. But lay off the cheese puffs, man.
  • There is a 'hidden Mickey' in the original TRON. Don't believe me? Check it out.
  • Parker Brothers Custom Choppers built a real-life light cycle. Hell. Yeah.

Allan Quatermain and the Lost City of Gold (pt. 1)

Yes, 'Quatermain', not 'Quartermain'. Sheesh!
From 1987, Richard Chamberlain and Sharon Stone camp it up. Enjoy!
